Causes We Fund
We support organisations who offer vulnerable women the advice, information, training and opportunities they need – empowering them to overcome traumatic circumstances and build a better life. Examples of projects funded include: self-help groups and livelihood loans in rural India, a local domestic abuse service, national housing support services and a choir for survivors of trafficking in the UK.
Access To Education
We support organisations who enable children to access education, breaking cycles of inequality and poverty, and empowering them to reach their full potential. Projects we support include: specialist education services for disabled children and high-quality education for underprivileged children throughout southern India. English and Maths interventions for disadvantaged primary school children in the UK.
We support organisations who actively assist the most vulnerable to access healthcare, breaking down the cycles of health inequality and its consequences. Projects we support include: Sending physiotherapy and mobility equipment to disabled children in India, and training women to help their communities access healthcare apps and virtual medical appointments. Mental health and drug & alcohol services for vulnerable and BAME women throughout the UK.
Training & Skills Enrichment
We support organisations who provide vulnerable and disadvantaged people with the skills training they need, empowering them to not only improve their own lives, but those of others in their communities. Projects we support include: a national UK bursary for post-secondary studies in fields which support victims of domestic abuse, from counselling to police work. A 6-month ‘future leaders’ programme that works with disadvantaged 16- to 18-year-olds in London. A skills-training centre for children and adults with additional needs in Pondicherry, India.
Disaster & Emergency Releif
Emergency food assistance for displaced people in Ethiopia. Virtual and in-person community training sessions on hygiene, healthcare and preventative measures to battle COVID-19 in India. We support organisations who help those caught up in natural and man-made disasters, from war and famine to disease and displacement, and actively save lives.
