Lifelines working with Nelumbo Foundation has sponsored the cost of 24,000 ‘corona warrior kits’ ( £210,000) by Yuva Unstoppable. The Yuva team is already on the ground ensuring that all front line staff have their basic needs met and feel supported as they battle the war raging around them.

‘We have started a nation wide campaign to boost and motivate our very low paying corona warriors like ward boys, ambulance drivers, nurses, lab technicians, as they are over worked & over stressed!  They make less than 80 pounds/month.  They are hammered by media and public daily & morale is just decimated.  We are giving them a corona warrior kit with Nutrition and Immunity boosters for 2 months for a family of 4 . Thousands of Nurses, Paramedical Staff, Daily Laborers, Ambulance Drivers, Ward Boys are grateful to the Lifelines family for thinking about them in these difficult times & boosting their confidence’
